1. How do I apply to join Aide Nation?
Applying is simple! Sign up online with basic information and someone from our team will get in touch with you.
2. Do I need to have a certificate to apply?
Yes, you need either an HHA (Home Health Aide) or a PCA (Personal Care Aide) active certificate. Your certificate is active if you are currently working with it, or if you have done so in the past two years.
3. How does payment work, do I get charged anything?
The home care agency that you’ll be matched with will hire you as their employee and pay you directly, keeping the process simple and transparent.
We help Aides set a fair pay rate starting at a minimum of $21 per hour.
Aides do not get charged anything.
4. Can I choose my schedule?
Absolutely! You decide which jobs fit your availability.
5. What if I have specific preferences, like not working with pets?
During the sign up process, you can share your preferences, such as not working in homes with pets or smokers, to ensure the right match. It’s always a good idea to reinforce your preferences with the agencies.
Agency FAQs
1. How does it work?
After signing up, a member of the Aide Nation team will reach out to provide you with free access to our network of aides. Once you find an aide who matches your needs, we’ll arrange an interview. You’ll only need to pay a hiring fee if you decide to proceed with hiring that aide.
2. What types of aides can I hire?
We provide certified HHAs, PCAs, and live-in aides, to match your agency’s needs.
3. Can I request aides with specific skills or language abilities?
Yes! When you have access to our network of aides, you’ll see detailed profiles, listing specific skills, such as language, whether the aide is a driver, their city, registry number and more.
4. How does pricing work?
Our pricing is straightforward: a fee is charged for each successful hire, and all aides are guaranteed a minimum wage of $21 an hour. The home care agency handles payments directly to the aides.
5. What are the qualifications of the aides?
All our aides are certified professionals. We provide their certification details, including registry numbers, so your agency can easily verify their credentials .
